Welcome to Bill Finn’s Southside Shooters Basketball Club.
We’ve been providing quality youth basketball programs for more than 10 years. Bill Finn spent 23 years as head coach of the Moraine Valley Community College men’s basketball team.
During his career, he accumulated a 506-210 career record and tallied twenty 20-plus win seasons. He also lead his teams to the National Junior College Athletics Association (NJCAA) Division II national tournament four times, finishing in the final four in 1990 and 1999. Finn was inducted into the NJCAA Men’s Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame in March 2009, the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association’s Hall of Fame in April 2003, and the NJCAA Region IV Sports Hall of Fame in March 2004.
Goals of the Bill Finn Basketball Program
Bill Finn’s Basketball Programs are designed to develop and improve the fundamental skills involved in the successful execution of the game of basketball. The program will do this through individual and group drills and instruction, as well as team play. Individual attention will also be given to each attendee’s particular needs.
Bill Finn is one of the classiest coaches you’ll ever find. His attention to detail and focus on the fundamentals of basketball are key to a child’s overall basketball development. My son has been in his program now for one year and has grown by leaps and bounds in his basketball I.Q. Looking forward to many more years of growth.
